Z -- TB PROJECT SOL IFB 504-96-024 DUE 061096 POC Contact Point, Margie Nation, (806)354-7841 Project scope shall include general, mechanical, and electrical construction to provide addition and mofification to meet all OSHA TB standards and provide sufficient facilities for infection control and isolation. Work will include conversion of small no. of patient rooms to TB isolation (negative pressure) rooms and upgrading some existing isolation rooms to meet TB standards. General construction will consist of demolition and clean up, vinyl fabric wall covering, replacement of lay-in ceiling with gypsum board, furr return ducts, painting, resilient base, access doors and metal framing. Mechanical work will consist of duct work, exhaust fans, air valves, filters and filter units, air grilles, and diffusers, vibration isolation, insulation, extension of control system, and independent testing and balancing, etc. Electrial work will consist of conduit, wire, motor starters, disconnents, extension of power wiring from exisitng panels, extension of control system, etc. All work will be as shown on plans and as described in specifications. The construction cost for the project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Total construction time shall be 180 days. Solicitation packages will be available on or about May 10, 1996.
