Z -- MAINTENANCE DREDGING, CRANES CREEK, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, VA SOL DACW65-96-B-0032 DUE 062596 POC Contact Ms. Patty McKinney, 804-441-7747 Work consists of maintenance dredging the Cranes Creek federal navigation channel to a width of 80 feet and a depth of 7 feet plus 1 foot of allowable overdepth. Total length of all areas to be dredged is approximately 1,300 feet. Total estimated dredged volume, including allowable overdepth, is 4,500 cubic yards of mostly sandy material. The contractor will be required to use the Government-furnished beach placement sight in proximity to the areas to be dredged. Distances from the areas to be dredged to the beach placement site range from approximately 500 to 2,000 feet. Material shall be dredged, transported, and placed on the beach by hydraulic dredge and pipeline. Dredged material shall be uniformly placed on the beach and the beach finish graded.
