The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD site, Information Management Department has a requirement for Silicon Graphics Software Maintenance for a base year plus three one year options to support Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI) installed on SGI Challenge servers. This action is being conducted under other than full and open competition pursuant to 40 U.S.C. 759(g) as amended; only one responsible source. Silicon Graphics software utilizes a proprietary software technology and they are the only company that can provide software that is 100% compatible with existing application programs. Therefore, negotiations will be conducted solely with Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, 12200-G Plum Orchard Drive, Silver Spring, MD.
