99 -- CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE RUBBER DEPOSITS FROM 50 FEET EACH SIDE OF CENTER LINE OF RUNWAY 17/35 FOR A TOTAL OF 1,200,000 AT NAS FORT WORTH POC Contract Specialist, Yvette M. Contractor shall remove rubber deposits from 50 feet each side of center line of runway 17/35 for a total of 1,200,000 SF. Runway will be stripped by hydroblasting. Contractor will restripe all runway markings using TT-B-1 325C, type 1 gardation. The total area for this portion of work is approximately 169,000 SF. Work periods for the removal of rubber deposits and painting (re-striping) will be performed during non-flying hours (late evening through early morning-10:00 PM through 7:00 AM). This is a request for quote and considered a one time procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Previous procurement history is not available.
