Winters, (319)339-7169, Additional Contact, Frank O'Meara, (319)337-7170 A/E services are required for preparation of plans and specifications, phasing, cost estimates, and construction period services for the replacement of existing roofs on buildings 1 and 16 at the DVA Medical Center, Iowa City, Iowa. The current roof includes ballasted EPDM roofing over concrete and/or metal pan as well as asphalt built-up roofing with gravel surfacing. Design will require electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry/tuckpointing, and the services of a certified Industrial Hygienist. The A/E will be required to recommend replacement materials for these roofs dependent on foot traffic etc. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Area of consideration is within 120 miles of this medical center. This contract is an emerging small business set aside (average annual gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years of does not exceed $1.25 million).
