The vessel to be acquired is an all steel, welded, Crane Barge. The vessel is 150-feet long, 46-feet wide and 9.3 feet deep in centerline. The vessel is intended to support the Maintenance and Repair missions of the Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District. It will operate primarily in and around the locks and dams maintained by the St. Louis District. The vessel will not be furnished with a crane. Testing will be required including scientific testing to verify crane safety. The procurement will be performed using a ``Design and Build'', Lump Sum, Fixed Price method.
