Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, and material to fabricate
and deliver within ninety (90) calendar days, four (4) hydraulic power
unit assemblies with necessary electrical controls and spare
equipment. These units shall be suitable for an outdoor environment and
capable of delivering approximately 14 GPM at a maximum working
pressure of 2500 PSI and shall consist of standard, cataloged
components of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the production of
such equipment. The units shall consist of a compact mounting of
components including pump, drive motor, control valves, system valves,
and oil reservoir. The unit shall be constructed so as to facilitate
normal maintenance. All components shall be selected and assembled into
one self-contained unit for the special purpose of operating the
existing lock culvert valve hydraulic cylinders with maximum system
efficiency, controllability and dur- ability. The components shall be
compatible and properly matched. Work is estimated to be in the $25,000
to $50,000 range. This is a Small Business set-aside with the SIC code
of 3594. Requests for Quote will be available on or about 10 May 96.
Award will be made to a Small Business firm by Purchase Order in
response to written quotation using the Simplified Asquisition
Procedures. All quotations submitted by responsible Small Business
