41 -- REPLACE PNEUMATIC CONTROLS SOL 96-108 POC Contact Leroy King at (404)842-6510 Z-The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the HVAC controls and air duct/controlled devices for Building 15, CDC Facilities, Chamblee Campus, Georgia. This replacement consists, in general, of the following aspects: (a) Replacement of building HVAC pneumatic controls with electronic components as part of a new ''Building Automation System'' which controls Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Environmental Temperature Control Systems, utilizing the latest micro chip technology, computer hardware, graphic display and wiring devices. (b) Removal and disposal existing airflow control terminal units. (c) Installation of new manual air-balancing dampers. (d) Adding building lighting controls to thenew Building Automation System. (e) Replacing two (2) exterior doors and hardware. (f) Removal of hazardous materials are not a part of this project. All known asbestos removal will be completed under a separate project before the execution of this contract. Solicitation will be issued on or about May 23, 1996. Award will be made in June, 1996. Notice to Proceed will be delayed until early September, 1996. Only written requests for this solicitation package will be honored. (0116)
