Requirements include but are not limited to perform preventive and demand maintenance for: (1) Inside plant maintenance for switch maintenance, Automatic Line Insulation Test, and monthly battery routines; (2) Outside Plant maintenance of all types of cables (copper, fiber and coaxial, whether aerial, burried, or underground), includes wire, telephone poles, and manholes/handholes; (3) Switchboard operators. Duration of contract performance is Base Year (beginning on 1 Oct 96 for 12 months) with four one-year options. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated.
