Notification is hereby provided of the intention of the U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) to issue a sole source request for quotation and purchase order award to Ms. Judy McKenzie of Santa Barbara, CA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The requirement is for an estimated 500 labor hours in fiscal year 1996 and an estimated 750 labor hours in fiscal year 1997. Tasks fall into two primary categories: 1) re-install IPW on GPD computer system and upgrade basic commands as they become ready under the new version; and 2) continue development and documentation of CRREL commands and scripts for cold regions applications. The designated contractor has been identified as the only source both available to, and capable of, providing the required level of IPW software support. See numbered note 22. (113)
