The Strategic Systems Program (SSP) proposes to procure effort related to development and support of Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) analyses including: Technical, Operational, and Cost Trade offs; evaluation of threat motivations for new or improved SLBM systems, and; subsystem level assessments. Contract will include four one-year options for additional support. Award will be made to Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc (SPA), the only company with immediate capability and expertise in a wide variety of weapon system analyses in areas directly applicable to this procurement such as: Technical Trade-off Studies; developing performance incentive criteria for TRIDENT contracts; establishing program inventory objectives; and a wide variety of applications similar to this procurement.
