Request for proposals for Job Corps Outreach/Admissions and Placement Services to serve the 5 boroughs of New York City. This will be a cost reimbursement contract. Performance will be judged against performance measures established by the program. There will be a minimal arrival requirement of 700 males and 800 females with options to expand to 1200 males and 900 females. The contractor will be required to place 70% or more of the estimated 2000 to 2300 students returning to New York City. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available May 9, 1996 for issue in response to written requests. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period October 1, 1996, through September 30, 1998. There will be an opportunity for three one year government unilateral options for extension after the base year depending on performance and other factors. The pre-proposal conference will be held on May 14, 1996, at 10:00 AM at the Job Corps Regional Office located at 201 Varick Street, New York, New York 10014-4811, Room 897.
