MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of Material Transport Blowers to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification (CSS) Plant. Interested qualified parties should have the ability to provide equipment in compliance with design/hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the equipment anticipated to be required under the procurement action. MATERIAL TRANSPORT BLOWERS: This is a procurement for two (2) electric motor powered material transport blowers to pneumatically convey class C fly ash and Portland cement from bulk storage pigs to vertical silos. The blowers are 1300 and 700 SCFM at 15 PSIG discharge pressure capacity. The units are skid mounted and completely assembled with controls, inlet and discharge silencers, and acoustical enclosures, if required. Units must be suitable for outdoor installation and use. Estimated magnitude of this procurement is between $25K and $100K (SIC CODE 3564).
