MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of Radon Removal Blowers to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification (CSS) Plant. Interested qualified parties should have the ability to provide equipment in compliance with design/hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the equipment anticipated to be required under the procurement action. RADON REMOVAL BLOWERS: This is a procurement for two (2) electric motor powered, direct drive, axial flow, vertical exhaust required for curb mounting on elevated platform. Units to include discharge mounting on elevated platform. Units to include discharge nozzles and wind bands to effect induced airflow for primary exhaust dispersion. Capacity required is about 12,000 CFM at 4-inches water column external static pressure. Acceptable materials of construction are mild steel, aluminum, fiberglass, or a combination thereof. Estimated magnitude of this procurement is less than $25K (SIC CODE 3564).
