MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of Polymer Blending Units to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification (CSS) Plant. Interested qualified parties should have the ability to provide equipment in compliance with design/hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the equipment anticipated to be required under the procurement action. POLYMER BLENDING UNITS: This is a procurement for two (2) electrically powered polymer blending units required for mixing about 55 GPH of neat polymer with water prior to introduction to slurry for assisting gravity thickening. Units to be packaged complete with neat polymer metering pump, powered mixing unit, water metering equipment, and all controls necessary for operation. Nominal dilute solution output capacity of about 45 GPM at 2-percent polymer concentration. Estimated magnitude of this procurement is between $25K and $100K (SIC CODE 3586).
