MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of Centrifugal Slurry Pumps to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification (CSS) Plant. Interested qualified parties should have the ability to provide equipment in compliance with design/hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the equipment anticipated to be required under the procurement action. CENTRIFUGAL SLURRY PUMPS: This is a procurement for five (5) electric motor powered, belt driven, centrifugal slurry pumps with capacities between 140 and 540 GPM. Elastomer lined volutes with elastomer coated or high chromium metal impellers having 30 HP to 60 HP motors. Percent solids of the slurry will range between 10 and 30 percent solids and unit weights between 9.0 to 10.5 lbs per gallon. Slurry possesses thixotropic properties. Estimated magnitude of this procurement is between $25K and $100K (SIC CODE 3561).
