MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of Polymer Metering Pumps to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification (CSS) Plant. Interested qualified parties should have the ability to provide equipment in compliance with design/hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the equipment anticipated to be required under the procurement action. POLYMER METERING PUMPS: This is a procurement for two (2) electric motor driven gear pumps for pumping dilute polymer solution with viscosities to 1500 centipoise. Capacity required is about 25 GPM each at 100 PSIG discharge pressure. Pumps are standard materials of construction with hardened rotors for pumping mildly abrasive liquids. Units must be suitable for outdoor installation and used. Estimated magnitude of this procurement is over $25K (SIC CODE 3586).
