MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of Standby Power Electrical Generator Sets to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification (CSS) Plant. Interested qualified parties should have the ability to provide equipment in compliance with design/hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the equipment anticipated to be required under the procurement action. STANDBY POWER ELECTRICAL GENERATOR SETS: This is a procurement for two (2) standby power electrical generator sets, each skid mounted, consisting of diesel engine drivers; 480Y/277V, 3-phase generators; fuel storage tanks with secondary containment and outdoor enclosures. Generator sets capacity are 750kW/938kVA and 600kW/750kVA. Estimated magnitude of this procurement is between $250K and $500K (SIC CODE 3621).
