SWEDEN: REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT AND HEAT PUMPS The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 96.95. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: SWEDEN. Agency or authority designated to handle comments regarding the notification can be indicated if different from above: 3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be provided in addition, where applicable): Refrigeration equipment and heat pumps. 5. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Amendment of the Refrigerants Order (SNFS 1992:16). 6. Description of content: The Refrigerants Order contains rules on precautionary measures when handling the ozone depleting substances and HFC in connection with construction, manufacturing, installation, care and maintenance of refrigeration equipment and heat pumps. There are also provisions in the regulation about handling and taking care of such refrigerants and demands of competence of the staff carrying out service, maintenance, installation and control of refrigeration equipment and pumps. The proposed alterations imply that demands in connection with certification of staff working with refrigeration equipment and heat pumps, are changed. Demands of education and experience are replaced by demands on a certain competence. Remaining changes of the regulation are mainly editorial and the aim is to simplify the understanding of these rules. 7.
