The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure 29 enahnced EMATTS for final evaluation and test with an option for 9 prototype units, sole source from Sippican Inc, Seven Barnabas Road, Marion, MA. The procurement includes the build, evaluation and testing of the enhancements developed by Sippican. The enhancements include: MK48/MK50 torpedo compatibility, autonomous evasion, integrated tracking pinger, variable tonals, SMT re-layout, and diesel-like geometries.
