Services shall generally include: Providing single and double occupancy motel/hotel rooms when called for by the Contracting Officer; Providing supper evening meals, breakfast meals, lunch/box lunches, and short order meals, when called for by the Contracting Officer. Furnishing transportation service to and from the contractor's establishment, to the MEPS, and from the commercial bus terminal/BART to the contractor's establishment is also required. Areas of consideration preferably within a 20 mile radius of the MEPS, but not to exceed 25 miles from the MEPS. This solicitation will result in a requirements type contract and delivery orders will be issued. Period of Performance will be from 1 Oct 96 through 30 September 97, with four one (1) year option periods. The proposed procurement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB) concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SB concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including, but not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative.
