Special considerations and conditions: There is an existing Post Office in portion of Building 00021 and this Post Office shall remain accessible and shall be maintained in an operating condition and shall be secured after working hours during this project. Hazardous materials are present in this project: asbestos and lead paint coatings. Work includes new fire sprinkler systems for building and covered walkway. Materials that contain asbestos and/or lead paint coatings shall be removed, transported, and disposed of properly by the contractor. Performance is at the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California. Performance time is 270 days.
