This directorate intends to issue Invitation For Bid (IFB) F29650-96-QC032 on or about 15 May 96 with responses due approximately fifteen (15) days thereafter. The proposed procurement listed herein is restricted to small business firms only with a primary Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) of 1731 with a size standard of $7.0M. The magnitude of this project between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 with an estimated performance period of 60 calendar days. In general, the work consists of preventative maintenance on eighteen substation transformers to include an external inspection, performance of tests, replacement of oil, removal and disposal of hazardous material and the placement of the transformer ''on-line''. The work shall be performed on weekends.
