Solicitation is for stabilization of approximately 2.25 acres at the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site near Aiken SC to minimize soil erosion and sediment production. The work shall include the following: hauling and placing of borrow material (both select material and topsoil) to grades shown on the plans; excavation of approximately 160 CY for channel and gabion installation using hand tools only; installation of gabions; installation of 18'' corrugated steel pipe; installation of a 6'' riser to existing manhole; placing geotextile fabric; placing riprap; seeding; and installation of slit fence.
