36 -- 120MM MORTAR LAP (LOAD, ASSEMBLY & PACK) SYSTEM SOL DAAA03-96-R-0024 DUE 061396 POC Virginia House, Contract Specialist, (501) 540-4091. 120MM Mortar load, assembly and pack (LAP) system in accordance with Pine Bluff Arsenal Technical Specification SIOPB-ET-1996-TS-2. Quantity: 1 system. Delivery is FOB Destination. System includes stenciling, assembly, torquing and strapping equipment, chamber/alignment gage, and other miscellaneous items that are required to LAP the 120MM mortars. Feed and discharge conveyors to move the munitions from operation to operation will be incorporated into the design of the project. The extent of work includes design, fabrication, acceptance testing, both at contractors facility and Pine Bluff Arsenal, installation and debug of the system capable of LAPing 120MM mortars. Final accceptance will be based on system performance after installation at Pine Bluff Arsenal and shall be evaluated on aceptance criteria as stated in specification. Solicitation DAAA03-96-R-0024 will issue on or about 13 May 1996 and close on or about 13 June 1996. Solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The technical specification contains export controlled data and only certified contractors can receive the technical data. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price contract.
