Sources are sought for the procurement of a self modelocked amplified Ti-Sapphire pumped optical parametric amplifier. The basic features are that the main source of the femtosecond pulses be a CW Argon Ion pumped self-modelocked Titanium doped sapphire (Ti:Al2O3) laser. A regenerative chirped pulse amplifier (CPA) must amplify this output to provide near transform limited pulses, on the order of 100 fs, at a repetition rate of at least 1kHz and average powers of at least 500mW. These amplified pulses must then be used to pump an optical parametric amplifier seeded by internally generated white light continuum. An autocorrelator to measure the pulse widths must be included.
