This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The salient characteristics of the above equipment CLINs 0001 - 0016 are as follows: Near Infrared Spectrometer capable of performing non-destructive reflectance and transmission analysis of a variety of cereal grains and grain by-products for constituents such as protein, oil, moisture, fiber, and amino acids. Near infrared spectrometer with computing capability to produce scans, do required manipulation of scans and mathematically compare them to chemical or analytical information from which calibrations are developed. Full scanning monochromator 650-2500 nm minimum range. Perform analysis of solids and liquids. Capable of analyzing ( 20 g of soybeans. Capable of non-destructive single soybean seed analysis. Software capable of developing calibrations and transferring to other NIR instruments. Validated calibrations for soybean and corn constituents available for purchase. Delivery to be 60 days ARO.
