The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting for proposals to construct a 4,140 net interior square foot facility on land owned by the Postal Service in Rose Hill, KS for lease back to the Postal Service. Offerors will be required to construct on a site which the Postal Service owns. The Postal Service will retain ownership of the site. The successful offeror will be required to lease the site from the Postal Service for $1.00 and construct a building to USPS standards. The Offeror will lease back the site and building to the Postal Service. Offerors will need to obtain special financing because no mortgage may be recorded against the site. Performance and payment bonds will both be required. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
