Z -- WASHRACK IMPROVEMENTS AT BUILDING 897 SOL DAAD05-96-B-0020 DUE 060796 POC Contract Specialist John Robb (410) 278-2371 (Site Code DAAD05) The contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for the construction of a Mechanical Vehicle Wash Reclamation System, with electrical work, complete and operational at the existing Perryman Wash Rack Facility, Building 897, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-5001. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with Specification No. 51EV- 96. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, construct erosion and sediment control measures; construct a new pre-engineered building enclosure and install all mechanical vehicle wash and reclamation equipment; construct and satisfactorily test all new exterior wash water supply and return piping for the mechanical vehicle wash facility to include new 8'' suction piping connection to the existing oil/water separator; construct new storm drain collection system including connection to existing system; modify emergency storm drain outfall riser and construct new 10'' drain outfall riser; de-water and clean sediment within the existing oil/water separator; remove accumulated silt and earth within the primary settling basin; and, provide new electrical service to the new mechanical equipment building. This solicitation is issued on a full and open competitive basis. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The government anticipates an award of a firm-fixed price type contract. Contract performance period is 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
