Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and design work to construct approximately 324 SF of addition to the battery room at CS-26 Blockhouse, Cape Canaveral Air Station FL. The work consists of constructing additional exterior walls with interior gypsum wallboard and insulation, concrete floor, suspended ceiling, and roof; replacing the suspended ceiling in the existing battery room with new fiberglass suspended ceiling; relocating existing shower and portable water regulator station; extending the existing HVAC and fire alarm system and connecting it to existing facility ground system; procurement and installation of the UPS batteries; and removing existing lightning protection wood pole. Period of performance will be 185 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 1 Jul 96. The applicable SIC Code for this acquisition is 1541 and Small Business Size Standard is $17.0M. Estimated range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
