Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. Beginning May 1996, Ogden Air Logistics Center/PK (00-ALC/PK), Hill Air Force Base, Utah will begin a ''phase in'' process, distributing drawings associated with solicitation packages on CD ROM. Aircraft, Commodities and Missile Procurements will be affected. The ''phase in'' process will be by NSN. During this period data may be available on CD-ROM, Floppy Disk, or aperature cards. CD-ROM is the medium of preference. After SEP 1996 data available by CD-ROM will gradually increase.
