ITEM 1., DESCRIPTION Line Conductor, 795 KCM all aluminum bare conductor, Class AA, Code ''ARBUTUS'', 37 stranded wires, QUANTITY 149,000 feets, UNIT PRICE_, EXTENDED AMOUNT_, MANUFACTURER:_, TOTAL CUBIC MEASUREMENTS_Cubic Feet. The shipment of the line conductor shall be in non-returnable wooden reels of 5,000 feet per reel. Delivery terms shall be as follows, after receipt of notice of award. Note: A differential will be applied to offers quoted on an f.o.b. destination Jefferson LA basis versus those quoted on a c.i.f. or f.o.b. destination Panama basis for comparative evaluation. This differential is the equivalent of $155.00 per measurement ton of 40 cubic feet (MTON) from Jefferson, LA to Panama. This is an average freight factor which includes the cost of ocean freight, stevedoring and handling fees, and the cost of inland freight in Panama.
