As stated in the synopsis of 12 Apr 96 Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, DOT&E, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Secure Computing Corporation, 1801 Robert Fulton Drive, Suite 400, Reston, VA 22091, for Sidewinder Fortezza Total Solution Value Pack which is comprised of a pentium computer, identification and authentication software, administrator training, on-site basic operator training, system installation, one-year software support (includes software upgrades during this one-year period), and technical support. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide compatibility with Secure Network Server/Standard Mail Guard (SNS/SMG) and to provide a ''firewall'' that can be used with the National Security Agency (NSA) Multilevel Information Systems Security Initiative (MISSI) Fortezza card for user identification and authentication. No solicitation document exists. Requests for such a document will be considered nonresponsive. Interested parties must submit a capabilities statement, including detailed pricing information, that delineates the ability to meet the stated requirement. If no written affirmative response is received within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice, award will be made to Secure Computing Corporation.
