The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a light weight, low profile flight helmet assembly for natural resource rotary wing aircrews. The helmets must be available in a minimum of three sizes, and shall provide protection from impacts and various ambient noise levels. Detailed specifications are included in the solicitation. the resulting contract will be an indefinite quantity type, with first article testing and approval required. The minimum quantity will be 200 each of the regular size and 1,000 each of the extra-large size. Delivery for the minimum quantity varies from 90 to 200 calendar days after award of contract.
