Cultural resource inventory of approximately 24,000 acres of lands and cultural resource site evaluation of eight sites on the Hiawatha National Forest in Alger, Delta, Chippewa, Mackinac, and Schoolcraft Counties, Michigan. The inventory objective is to identify, record, and provide a preliminary evaluation of historic and prehistoric cultural resources that will affect or may be affected by future land management activities and to record management objectives as outlined in 36 CFR 800. The site evaluation objective is to design and conduct a limited archaeological testing or documentation program, analyze results, and prepare a narrative evaluation. Total contract time is 240 calendar days. Estimated cost is less than $100,000. Project is 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. (121)
