Williams, 804-441-7358, Contract Specialist Buildings Number 1 and Number 8 at the Lake Drummond Feeder Ditch Spillway of the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway are early twentieth century wood framed buildings on brick masonry foundations. Both buildings have asbestos containing materials which are to be abated. Building Number 1 is two stories, 41' long and 26' wide, with a full width, 8' deep screened porch on the front. This building is to be demolished in its entirety. Building Number 8 is a single story, 27' long and 20' wide, with a 7' x 15' screened porch. Building Number 8 shall be repaired and rehabilitated as follows: demolish roofing, and replace with new asphalt shingle roofing on felt over existing sheathing, repair existing brick foundations, remove existing floor and install new VCT, remove interior wall and ceiling finishes and install new gypsum wall board throughout, repair all windows, install salvaged storm windows from Building Number 1, insulate all exteriors walls, floor and ceiling, repair all bathroom and kitchen fixtures, repair fireplace, flue, damper, and chimney, install new soffit vents, prep and paint all interior and exterior painted surfaces (new and existing), remove and install new screens and batten strips for porch, refurbish or replace all door and window hardware, install new heat pump, install new propane fired back-up generator, demolish and install new electrical panel, wiring, outlets, light fixtures. The project also includes the construction of a new 16' x 16' wood framed storage shed on a reinforced concrete slab, with shelves, and double doors. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. Magnitude is estimated between $90,000 and $100,000. Duration of the project is 90 calendar days.
