Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - SITE POWER DISTRIBUTION UPGRADE SOL DAAC89-96-B-0012. Due 061296. Contact Cheryl J Henwood, 801/833-2608/Contracting Officer. Upgrade the existing obsolete 208 volt and 480 volt main distribution panels. This will include changing to solid state breakers, putting a motor actuator on each breaker 200 AMPS or higher, and adding status signals for CMO monitoring and control. The contractor shall provide, install and test a new 2000 amp switchboard and 2 each 1200 amp distribution panels, circuit breakers, metering, ground fault protection, empty panels for a 1000 amp automatic transfer switch and wire pulling and all ancillary equipment and parts necessary to replace the existing 480 volt power distribution system. The construction site is located at t he CAMDS Site, Tooele Army Depot, South Area, Tooele, Utah. This is a restricted area requiring the contractor to attend a Chem-Surety Training Class and be fitted for a proper gas mask. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000.
