Western Area Power Administration is seeking sources to provide a 240/120-volt rated outdoor station service switchgear assembly. Station Service Unit substation shall include the two pad-mounted transformers, alternating-current (ac) distribution panelboards, accessories/auxiliaries, cabling, and protective relays, complete and ready for operation. The switchgear assembly shall be designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with the latest applicable standards of American National Standards Institute, Inc. (ANSI), the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Inc., the National Electrical manufacturers Association (NEMA) and national Electric Safety Code (NEC). The station service switchgear assembly shall be completely assembled, wired, adjusted, and tested at the factory before shipment and shall be packaged and braced to prevent damage in shipment and to facilitate easy handling when unloading and during installation. Delivery shall be made no later than October 15, 1996.
