70 -- ADP MAIN FRAME EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE SHUTTLE PROCESSING DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SPDMS) AT MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER, HUNTSVILLE, AL SOL 400492030 DUE 051596 POC Contact Helen Klamer, 205/544-2320 CSC intends to purchase an IBM 9021-620 and an IBM 9021-640 processor with peripheral units to support the SPDMS migration from Kennedy Space Center, FL to Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. To accomodate mission schedules, equipment must be delivered not later than July 12, 1996 and installation complete by July 25, 1996. Payment terms require an installment plan not to exceed six months. Upon completion of successful workload migration, the superfluous equipment at Kennedy Space Center shall be conveyed to the subcontractor within 30 days. The Subcontractor shall provide all personnel and other resources necessary to accomplish this action. Interested persons have 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities/ (i.e., technical specifications, brochures, and price list with proposed discounts) in the critical areas mentioned above. Such qualifications/ capabilities/and pricing (with discounts) will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by CSC not to compete this proposed procurement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to the synopsis, is solely within the discretion of CSC.
