The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and other items necessary to perform various chemical and physical analyses of liquid, semi-liquid, solid, and semi-solid samples and provide written and oral analytical results in accordance with a variety of Federal environmental regulations specified in the solicitation. The samples will be collected by the Government and delivered to Anchorage via the U.S. Postal Service or to a designated location in Anchorage, as specified in each delivery order. All services will be performed within the state of Alaska. The contractor will be selected by competitive negotiation under Source Selection Procedures. Offerors will be evaluated on price and other non-price related criteria. The non-price criteria is the presentation of current certifications issued by the state of Alaska with the proposal, as required in the solicitation and past performance. A singel indefinite quantity contract will be awarded for a base year with provisions for a one year option period exercised at the discretion of the Government. Solicitations will be available on or about 16 May 1996 at no charge until the supply is exhausted. The anticipated closing date for receipt of proposals is 21 June 1996 at 4:00 PM PDT.
