R -- FEDLINK LIBRARY BIBLIOGRAPHIC UTILITY SERVICES POC Vanessa Fox, Contract Specialist. The Library of Congress intends to enter into negotiations with OCLC, Research Libraries Group, and Western Library Network to continue to provide Library Bibliographic Utility Services for the FY97 Option Year of their existing Basic Ordering Agreements with the Library of Congress for the FEDLINK Program. All services basically provide for interactive, contributory use of computer file systems in support of library functions. Users interact with the utility's system to conduct library operations such as cataloging, interlibrary loan, acquisitions, serials control, union listing, and reference functions. Service will be continued through September 30, 1997. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Written responses should include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability and must be received in this office within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice.
