W -- LEASE OF SPECTROMETER SYSTEM SOL N00181-96-R-0049 POC Nancy Hayden, Code 531.4A, (804) 396-8346; Nancy Hassell-Sitar, Code 531, (804) 396-8346 Lease of one (1) Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP) for the analysis of wastewater, drinking water and hazardous waste. The unit shall be a spectrometer with a vacuum unit with a minimum of 1080 G/MM grating and a 20/50 slip option for sequential and 36 analytical lines. Unit shall have an ICP stand and generator, appropriate simultaneous background correction, MDSN system, peri pump, IBM compatible: 486 CPU 66 MHZ computer, high resolution color monitor, laser printer. Four LIMS, MUX/4/3M, four serial lines, two voltage regulators (one 8KVA and one 5KVA) with an autosampler. It shall be a complete and functioning inductively coupled argon plasma analytical system which includes the following items: (1) vacuum multi-channel spectrometer, (2) scanning monochromator, (3) transfer optics, (4) detection and measuring electronics, (5) radio-frequency generator, (6) plasma source, (7) sample introduction system, (8) autosampler system, (9) controller and software, (10) excitation stand. Shall include operation and maintenance manuals, parts, service, labor for service engineer for the duration of the lease. Shall include installation and operator training for two (2) people for one (1) week. The lease period shall be for a base year with four (4) one year options. F.O.B.
