Treatment processes for the new WWTP will include preliminary treatment for coarse screening removal; biological treatment for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and total suspended solids (TSS); and disinfection. Construction shall include a new Administration/Control Building, Blower Building, Chlorination/Dechlorination Building, Sequencing Batch Reactors, Aeorbic Digester, Sludge Drying Beds, and a Irrigation/Effluent Disposal System. The project includes paving, site improvements and supporting utilities. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about 28 May 1996. The SIC Code is 1542. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The construction period is 420 days. The cost of plans and specifications is $250.00 per set. This charge is nonrefundable.
