The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Kimberly, Idaho has a requirement for a used John Deere field combine, model 7720 Titan II, or equal, 1988 or newer, 3012 use/hours or less: with hydrostatic drive and turbo charged diesel engine, enclosed cab with air conditioning, and power steering. It must have an 18 foot Grain Head with Model 218 Platform Pickup Reel, a 14 foot Bean Head with Model 611 11 foot Sund Pickup, a Bean Slowdown Kit, a Straw Chopper, over spreader, a Reversible Feeder House, a Dip & Pour Elevator, a Grain Loss Monitor, and a heavy duty Rear Axle. The combine will only have occasional and limited use. The government intends to conduct negotiations with GEM Equipment, Inc., of Twin Falls Idaho, for a John Deere 7720 Titan II Combine.
