The drydock caisson seal consists of a rubber and steel matrix molded together. Five (5) geometrically different seal configurations are required to form a continuous, steel reinforced, molded rubber seal on each face of the caisson. The reinforcing material shall be carbon steel conforming to the requirements of ASTM A 36. 1 LO consisting of seventy (70) pieces--FOB Bldg. 167, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, 150-days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. Requests for copies of solicitation should be received no later than 10 days prior to closing date.
