Executive Blvd, EPS/Room 638, MSC 7228, Bethesda MD 20892-7228 66 -- LUMISCAN 150 SOL RFQ60058-NS DUE 060396 POC Patricia Haun,
Contracting Officer, (301) 402-4509. The National Cancer Institute
(NCI) requires delivery and installation of a Lumiscan 150. The
Lumiscan 150 is a high resolution laser film digitizer designed for
most clinical applications. This equipment is for precision
microdosimeter measurements of radiation fields for stereo tactic,
branch therapy scans, and radiolabeled antibodies. The Lumiscan 150
converts films sized from 8'' x 10'' to 14'' x 17'' into digital images
of 2048 to 1000 x OD (optical density at that point). Any point on the
film with an optical density of 2.5 would be assigned a pixel value of
2500. The actual pixel value range is form 0 to 3600 (optical density
3.6) in OD increments of .001. The system specifications shall include:
Film Sizes - up to 14'' width, 7'' minimum length; Pixel Resolution -
2048 pixels over 8'' to 14'' film widths optional variable spot size
50m spot size; Scan Rate - 75 lines/second @ 2K; Density Resolution -
0.001 optical density; Density Range - .03 to 3.6 optical density;
Interface - SCSI; Dimensions 32''w x 22''h x 22''d; Weight - 250
pounds; Power - 100 to 120v, 50/60 Hz, 5 amps, 220 to 230v, 50/60 Hz,
3 amps. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be
considered by NCI. NO collect calls will be accepted See Numbered
