Robotic Liquid Handling System, MultiPROBE 204DT, manufactured by
Packard Instrument Co. or EQUAL. System must have: a stationary grid
deck with a four channel fluid sampling arm capable of moving over the
working surface in an X-Y-Z direction, a disposable and fixed,
washable tip capability, computer controlled variable sample probe
spacing, independent channel, high precision syringe pumps, optical
sensors to verify tip pick-up, dispensing and ejection, and a
biohazardous waste disposal unit. System software shall be easy to use
with a graphical user interface, pull down menus and simple user
prompts for complete protocols, for defining deck layouts and rack
configurations on the work surface, for assay automation from original
containers to destination vessels, and for walk away single or
multiple test processing and reagent dispensing. Computer hardware
required to run the system must be included as part of the system.
Throughput must be a minimum of 850 samples per hour. Accuracy at 50 uL
must be better than 100 +/-1%. Installation, setup and training will be
