70 -- MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR XEROX MODEL 8700 SOL N00167-96-Q-0214 DUE 061296 POC Pandora Shields, Contract Specialist, (301) 227-1132 Joyce Bell, Contrcting Officer, (301) 227-1113. The Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement to purchase full services, next business day maintenance of Xerox Model 8700 with offline Printer System which includes Offline Tape Control Module, installed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, for a twelve (12) month period from 1 June 1996 thru 30 June 1997. The Contractor shall keep the equipment designated herein in proper operating condition. Subject to security regulations, contractors personnel shall be granted access to equipment provide maintenance service. Any parts replaced shall meet replacement component specifications of the original system performance standards. Anticipated award date is 14 June 1996. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This requirement is a sole source procurement with Xerox.
