Provide feed grain, No. 2 Barley from the 1996 growing season with a test weight of not less than 46 pounds per bushel and no more than 15% moisture, or, furnish No. 2 Yellow Corn from the 1996 growing season with a test weight of not less than 56 pounds per bushel and no more than 15% moisture. Contamination of dirt, straw and other foreign matter shall be kept to a minimum. USDA, ARS reserves the right to perform random sampling through the delivery period. 125 tons of the grain selected shall be delivered to the USDA/ARS Mud lake Feedlot at Mud lake, Idaho between November 4, 1996 and February 1, 1997. 120 tons of the grain selected shall be delivered to the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station Headquarters, located 7 miles north of Dubois, Idaho, between September 2, 1996 and April 1, 1997 as space in the grain bin becomes available. Storage facilities vary (210 ton capacity at Headquarters, and 125 tons at Mud Lake). The contractor will be required to make several deliveries to each location. Deliveries shall be for a minimum of 30 tons. The Contractor may be required to store the grain selected until the end of the delivery period (i.e. April 1, 1997) at no additional cost to the government.
