Greensboro, NC 27498-1103 C -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR A/E SERVICES FOR THE STATE OF
KENTUCKY Due 053196. Contact Chi Hung A/E (910) 665-2816. The contract
is for Indefinite Quantity Architect/Engineering Services (IQC-A/E) to
complete design of USPS furnished 30% standard plans (medium standard
building designs) for new construction owned building using CADD in the
state of Kentucky. The contract includes preparation of contract
documents with options for contract Administration and Inspection
services. The base term of the contract will be for one year with four
one-year renewal options (maximum of five years duration), $250,000
limit per work order to include all surveys, design and services during
construction and $2,500,000 total contract limit (with no annual
limits). Firms that have the qualifications to perform the services
described are invited to submit completed SF255, ``Architect-Engineer
and Related Services Questionnaire for this project,'' and a completed
SF 254 ``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire.'' Also
submit a completed SF254 for each proposed consultant. All submittals
are to be postmarked no later than May 31, 1996. Interested firms with
more than one office must indicate on their SF255 the staffing
composition of the office in which the work will be performed.
Consideration will be given to firms responding to this advertisement
in accordance with the instruction in the following area; twenty-five
(25) mile radius of the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Architectural and
Engineering firms will be considered as local only if their sole office
is in the twenty-five (25) mile radius or they have a local branch
office and all of the Architectural design, coordination, and
management of the project will be performed in that office. There is
not restriction of the geographical location of consultants. The
minimum acceptable Architect and Engineering complement of the prime
firm and consultants is two (2) Architects, (1) one Electrical
Engineer, (1) one Mechanical Engineer, (1) one Structural Engineer and
(1) one Civil Engineer. The contract contains a requirement for firms
to provide evidence of current insurance in the amount of, not less
than $200,000.00 of errors and omissions per claim. At the discretion
of the contracting officer, multiple awards may be awarded. It is
prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to
any person or firm contingent upon or resulting from award of a
contract for the project. No other notification for this project will
be made. Submissions will not be retained or returned. This is not a
